Gateway GCD desires to reach young audiences by distributing materials through public schools, 4-H and Agriculture programs. Our lessons are directly correlated to the TEKS and STAAR Objectives and are taught by a 20 year veteran in the education industry. If you are interested in having us come to your classroom, please book early. We plan to attend 4th, 5th, and 7th grades in all six counties as well as any Ag days, but have curriculum for K-12. We also award a $1000 scholarship to a University as well as a Technical School applicant for each of the seven high schools. In additon an extra $1000 is awarded to the student with the best esay. Click on the application below for details.

Gateway GCD is encouraging all high school students in our counties to apply for the 4-H Water Ambassador Program. Gateway will sponsor any student from our six counties that is accepted into the program.  Texas 4-H Water Ambassadors Program provides high school age 4-H members and youth an opportunity to gain advanced knowledge and practice leadership skills related to the science, technology, engineering, and management of water in Texas.
